Streaming services like Netflix are investing in a lot of new shows and movies. That’s great for those of us who love variety and want a range of shows to delve into!
Read on here about the top ongoing shows to find the one that interests you and watch it. I’ve watched Devil May Cry and Adolescence charted on top and found both to be very intriguing.
While I love the animated one more because of my interest in Japanese anime and adult animations – Castlevania watchers would know what adult animation means (NO, not that, I know your mind went there, so get it out of the gutter and watch some of these new shows offering something for everyone).
The list for new shows on Netflix keeps expanding every month, and I’m excited to share the best TV shows on Netflix for the month of April. Make sure your internet is seamless, as Netflixing may require a good high-speed internet to keep the experience buffer-free or stream in 4K. I have one of the best in my area. Spectrum offers great plans for all sorts of users. To find out more about it, you can head to their support, available 24/7 in either Spectrum español or English.
Get the internet sorted and binge-watch your nights away, but only on the weekend, though, or you’re at risk of obesity, weak eyesight, etc., etc., which I’m sure you don’t want me to get into, read up!

Adolescence
IMDb rating: 8.2/10
Adolescence is at the top of the list, even now in most countries. Its cinematics, dialogue delivery, and the debut acting of Owen Cooper are the talk of the town.
Adolescence is a psychological thriller drama that is based on toxic masculinity. It is a miniseries that consists of only 4 episodes, but those episodes will keep you on edge. Its story revolves around a 13-year-old boy, Jamie Miller, who murders his classmate. This is revealed at the start of the show when detectives raid his house to arrest him, leaving his family in shock.
Out of the four, episode three of this show is breathtaking and full of emotions that will leave you in shock. This show is about not only crime and drama, but also covers the topic of social media bullying, revealing the struggles of a child in school, and shows how bullying can lead to different mindsets and wrong actions.
The facial expressions of every actor in this show will draw your attention to different perspectives. It will teach you how active parenting is a must and how your child grasps the idea of masculinity. The right set of parenting is becoming much more important to lead your kids in the right direction.
A fun fact about this show is that each episode was shot in a single direction, making this story look more reality-based and raw. Binge-watch this show on your upcoming movie night to experience the hype of it. I did just that and had some jitters.
